What is perhaps most noticeable is how the Military as an institution ranks incredibly high for individuals of both political parties. While those who actually looked at the study may have realized how meaningless some categories are (for example: Major Companies is a rather low category for Democrats, but Google and Amazon rank in the top 5), there is still some valuable insight to be gained from the study’s results. The 2018 American Institutional Confidence Poll published by Georgetown University’s Baker Center made media waves as Democrats polled in the study reported having higher institutional confidence in Amazon than they did in political parties or either level of government.
